The Federal Bureau of Investigation announced that Thomas Weir Pauken II, an American citizen who lived and worked in the People’s Republic of China (PRC), was sentenced to two years in prison for acting as an agent of a foreign government within the United States.

In addition to the term of incarceration, Pauken was given 36 months of supervised release following his imprisonment. As part of the supervised release conditions, he was prohibited from traveling overseas.
