Ohio Renaissance Festival returns for 37th year; new turn lane aims to ease traffic

The Ohio Renaissance Festival is returning for its 37th year, and organizers have added a new turn lane to help ease the traffic backups that accompany the event, myfox28columbus.com reported on Sept. 9, 2026.

The added turn lane is intended to improve traffic flow during peak arrival and departure periods. Organizers say the change is aimed at reducing congestion and smoothing access to the festival grounds.

If you plan to attend, allow a bit of extra travel time and follow posted signs and staff directions as you approach the event. The new lane should help, but crowds and seasonal traffic patterns can still affect travel.
