Flood Warning issued August 20 at 11:35PM EDT until August 22 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Indianapolis IN

…The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana… Driftwood River near Edinburgh. …The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Indiana… East Fork White River at Seymour. …The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in Indiana… East Fork White River near Rivervale. .Recent additional heavy rainfall has lead to rising water levels on the East Fork White River and some headwater tributaries. Minor flooding has ended on the East Fork White near Rivervale…with flooding forecast to start at Seymour Friday afternoon. The Driftwood River near Edinburgh will be around bankfull Friday afternoon and evening. * WHAT…Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE…Driftwood River near Edinburgh. * WHEN…From Friday morning to Saturday evening. * IMPACTS…At 12.0 feet, Lowland flooding reported along Sugar Creek and Big Blue River in southern Johnson County in March 2011. Lowland flooding begins along portions of the Driftwood River in northern Bartholomew County. Water is near CR 950N to Double Y Saddle Club. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS… – At 10:30 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 10.0 feet. – Forecast…The river is expected to rise above flood stage late tomorrow morning to a crest of 11.2 feet tomorrow evening. Motorists should not attempt to drive around barricades or drive cars through flooded areas. Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the dangers of flooding.
