More than 20 tons of squid spilled onto a Rhode Island road, blocking traffic for roughly eight hours, ABC News reports.
The unusual cargo spill forced officials to keep the roadway closed while crews cleared the scene, producing prolonged delays for drivers. ABC News is the source for the report.
Motorists should monitor local traffic updates and seek alternate routes until authorities reopen affected stretches of roadway.
