MassLive reports that a serious attack on Springfield school computers has kept school buildings closed for a second day, disrupting normal operations in the district, the outlet said on Sept. 8.
The report describes the incident as a significant attack on the district’s computer systems; local officials have not yet returned the schools to regular in-person instruction, MassLive wrote.
MassLive is continuing coverage as the district works through the computer issues and decisions about reopening, the report says.
